Requirements

  • Relevant academic degree in business administration, business informatics, industrial engineering, or comparable field
  • At least five years of professional experience in automotive, production, logistics, or similar environments
  • Solid experience in medium to large-scale change and IT/SAP transformation programs
  • Strong command of IT project management
  • Deep understanding of common project methodologies
  • Familiarity with key rollout phases (testing, cut-over, hyper-care)
  • Confidence taking ownership in critical project situations
  • Experience with established project management tools (Jira, MS Project, Smartsheet)
  • Project management certifications (PMP or PRINCE2) are ideal
  • Clear and confident communication
  • Enjoyment of working in international and intercultural environments
  • Ability to motivate stakeholders and teams
  • Growth mindset and high level of drive
  • Thriving in high-performance teams
  • Keeping complex initiatives moving forward effectively
  • Professional working proficiency in English
  • Additional language skills are an advantage
  • Flexibility for critical project phases
  • Openness to international travel (up to 60-80%)

Tasks

  • Drive roll-in of business processes and solutions
  • Plan and manage country- and region-specific roll-ins
  • Implement global standards while addressing local requirements
  • Take end-to-end accountability for deployment phases
  • Ensure stable transition into live operations
  • Collaborate closely with country coordinators and stakeholders
  • Contribute IT project management expertise
  • Demonstrate intercultural competence
  • Define and coordinate business readiness activities
  • Plan cut-over and contingency scenarios
  • Manage risks, issues, and deliverables
  • Lead local workstream status meetings
  • Handle escalations transparently
  • Ensure smooth handover to receiving organization
  • Support successful Hyper-Care phase
