Data Team Lead/Senior Data Team Lead(m/w/x)
Managing end-to-end clinical data management services for healthcare clients. 5+ years clinical data management experience in CRO/pharma, with 3+ years as a project lead, required. Leading a dedicated Clinical Data Management team.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or educational equivalent in health, clinical, biological or mathematical sciences, or related field
- 5+ years direct Clinical Data Management experience in CRO or pharmaceuticals industry, including 3+ years as a CDM project lead, or equivalent combination of education, training and experience
- Proven competence in managing delivery of multiple projects through full DM life-cycle
- Experience of handling customer negotiations
- Knowledge of Good Clinical Practices and relevant regulatory guidelines
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, customer service, and teamwork skills
- Comprehensive understanding of clinical drug development process
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, managers and customers
Tasks
- Manage end-to-end delivery of data management services
- Ensure quality deliverables on time and within budget
- Provide data management expertise to the Clinical Data Management team
- Direct project planning, execution, and close-out
- Oversee financial management and milestone deliverables
- Comply with Good Clinical Practices and regulatory guidelines
- Serve as the primary contact for customers on clinical data management
- Collaborate with customer data managers and internal teams for process improvements
- Negotiate timelines, financials, and resources with customers
- Maintain strong relationships with customers
- Ensure open communication with customers and management
- Meet regularly with Data Operations Coordinator and team members
- Establish communication with functional leads and project managers
- Support data management service delivery with technical expertise
- Act as the escalation point for unresolved data issues
- Work with functional managers to assign appropriate resources
- Create and review data management plan documents
- Implement proactive quality management plans across projects
- Track service performance and identify root causes of issues
- Provide leadership in specific CDM tasks or technologies
- Maintain internal tracking databases and systems
