- Aligning senior leaders and pushing back
- Creating structure under pressure
- University degree or equivalent experience
Tasks
- Own marketing analytics domain end-to-end
- Set direction and manage trade-offs
- Represent marketing analytics in executive conversations
- Treat domain as portfolio of data products
- Account for outcomes, not activity
- Serve as senior measurement authority for marketing performance
- Hold vendors accountable for marketing performance
- Build internal capability in marketing measurement
- Ensure marketing investment decisions are data-driven
- Translate marketing ambition into structured plans
- Manage stakeholder expectations proactively
- Say no constructively when necessary
- Lead marketing analytics team daily
- Grow team capability and protect focus
- Define marketing measurement methodologies
- Design experiments and incrementality tests
- Evaluate and select vendors
- Partner with marketing leadership on planning
- Inform investment decisions with data
- Conduct performance reviews and campaign analytics
- Define data products with clear owners and users
- Establish success metrics and lifecycles
- Maintain portfolio discipline
- Manage scope, risk, dependencies, and transparency
- Collaborate with Tech Lead on standards and architecture
- Respect division of responsibilities
