- Studies in Life Sciences, Bioinformatics, Computer Science, or related field
- Curiosity and motivation to learn new skills
- Interest in data and web technologies
- Basic IT familiarity and web tools
- Previous relevant experience welcome but not required
- Good written and verbal English communication skills
Tasks
- Migrate content from legacy pages to the new development server
- Update and enhance public website content and structure
- Improve website styling, layout, and user experience
- Test migrated content for accuracy and formatting consistency
- Support the deployment of approved public web pages
- Maintain intranet and public-facing content post-migration
- Identify legacy internal material for migration or updates
- Organize website content for better navigation and accessibility
- Update service details, pricing, and protocols
- Ensure visual consistency across all web pages
- Document changes and maintain version control
- Assist with routine sequencing data management tasks
- Monitor data archiving and deletion workflows
- Support general operational and administrative team tasks
- Learn and assist with sequencing data workflows
- Work with database systems and web technologies
- Collaborate with bioinformaticians on genomics projects
Education
- Currently in higher education
