Requirements

  • •Vocational training as a freight forwarding agent, industrial clerk, or degree in business administration, finance, or related field
  • •Experience with customs procedures, Union Customs Code (UCC), and EU regulations
  • •Experience with special economic procedures, private international law (PIL), and international private international law (IPR)
  • •Sound knowledge of Dakosy GE, MS Office, and SAP R/3 & GTS
  • •Analytical thinking and quick comprehension
  • •Flexibility, resilience, and ability to concentrate
  • •Organizational skills, reliability, and ability to work independently
  • •Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • •Very good written and spoken German skills and good English skills

Education

Vocational certification
OR
Bachelor's degree

Work Experience

approx. 1 - 4 years

Tasks

  • •Prepare customs declarations for import and export
  • •Review customs invoices and tax assessments from external service providers
  • •Communicate with internal business units, suppliers, forwarders, consignees, and warehouse keepers
  • •Prepare all customs-related documents and support audits
  • •Provide customs advice and support to business units and group companies
  • •Communicate with customs authorities
