- Certified engineer, degree from advanced technical school, or work experience of ~3 years
- Ability to understand and solve problems in software, electronics, optics, mechanical, electro-mechanical, and/or electro-optical systems
- Excellent interpersonal communication, analytical and problem solving skills
- Great customer relations and collaboration skills within a multi-cultural environment
- Fluency in English and German
- Full driver’s license
- Willingness and availability to travel up to 25%
- Domestic and international travel is required on a regular basis
Tasks
- Update and troubleshoot complex capital equipment
- Diagnose and repair equipment at customer sites
- Ensure customer satisfaction with service
- Maintain operational quality of system equipment
- Coordinate with customers to minimize downtime
- Assist Installation Engineers in problem resolution
