Corporate Actions Specialist(m/w/x)
End-to-end corporate actions lifecycle management for a Brokerage-as-a-Service platform. Deep, hands-on experience in Corporate Actions Operations required. Flexible working hours, hybrid setup, work from anywhere in Germany.
Requirements
- Deep, hands-on experience in Corporate Actions Operations
- Experience across fintechs, banks, custodians, brokers, or asset servicers
- Full end-to-end lifecycle coverage in Corporate Actions Operations
- Exposure to broader investment/market operations is a strong plus
- Practical familiarity with German retail investing market
- Understanding of European regulatory requirements translation to operations
- Comfortable operating within custody structures and market infrastructure
- Ability to build effective working relationships with custodians and counterparties
- Thrive in complex exception management
- Confidently running investigations end-to-end
- Driving issues through to clear, documented resolution
- Eye for detail
- Strong risk, controls, and auditability mindset
- Track record of driving process improvements and automation
- Partnering closely with Product and Engineering
- Fluent English communication (C1)
- German language skills are a plus but not required

Tasks
- Own end-to-end corporate actions lifecycle
- Capture and validate announcements
- Process elections and calculate entitlements
- Settle and reconcile corporate actions
- Partner with Product and Engineering
- Design and scale operating model
- Translate event flows into requirements
- Create clear workflows and screens
- Coordinate with external stakeholders
- Ensure accurate and timely event processing
- Manage regulatory and tax reporting
- Meet disclosure and market deadlines
- Maintain internal control standards
- Drive continuous improvement
- Standardize processes
- Reduce operational risk
- Implement system and tooling enhancements
- Build internal corporate actions knowledge
- Create SOPs and event playbooks
- Develop operational handbooks and policies
