Construction Security and Reporting Technician(m/w/x)
Designing and operating Temporary Electronic Security Systems, monitoring construction workers for US Army Europe/Africa intelligence missions. Active TS/SCI clearance in good standing required. Frequent international travel for US Army missions.
Requirements
- BA/BS and 10 years experience or 15 years military experience
- Active TS/SCI clearance in good standing
- 3 years experience in construction security, TSCM, or industrial/government security
- 5 years in construction security surveillance or technical surveillance countermeasures
- Previous CST experience at overseas or domestic project sites
- Counterintelligence or Intelligence Analysis skills
- Naval Construction Battalion (CB) training
- U.S. Army Corps of Engineers construction training
- SOFA approval or commensurate work-Visa requirements
Tasks
- Support US Army Europe/Africa intelligence missions
- Research and produce all-source terrorism assessments
- Design and operate Temporary Electronic Security Systems
- Prevent unauthorized placement of covert surveillance devices
- Monitor construction workers to prevent hostile monitoring
- Screen equipment and materials using X-ray machines
- Inspect construction tools and materials for tampering
- Report deviations from official project construction plans
- Implement access control for personnel and equipment
- Operate specialized technical inspection equipment
- Apply engineering principles to construction security
- Interpret and analyze architectural designs and blueprints
- Identify structural elements designed for clandestine concealment
- Apply knowledge of technical counterintelligence measures
- Prepare comprehensive security reports in English
- Maintain detailed daily logs of shift activities
- Determine facility security levels based on procedures
- Review project security requirements with the SSO
- Maintain documentation records for the security team
- Submit daily logs to the Site Security Manager
- Monitor foreign national personnel on secure sites
- Document construction activities and security incidents
- Execute daily site opening and closing procedures
