- Collaborate with engineers to ensure manufacturability and quality
- Propose layup sequences and manufacturing processes
- Select composite materials based on mission environments
- Iterate designs based on structural and thermal analysis
- Prepare technical drawings and design documentation
- Manage configuration control and track mass budgets
- Improve composite design tools and best practices
- Engage in co-engineering sessions across functional teams
