Tasks
- Check software certification reports
- Approve software certification reports and conformity documents
- Manage the software certification lifecycle
- Ensure audit-proof and compliant internal processes
- Build and maintain trust with certification authorities
- Serve as primary technical contact for software certification
- Review PSAC, SAS, and supporting planning documents
- Independently approve PSAC, SAS, and planning documents
- Ensure compliant development and verification strategies
- Lead and execute all Stages of Involvement (SOI #1-4)
- Verify process maturity and verification readiness
- Conduct deep technical reviews of software requirements
- Review software design for standard and safety adherence
- Review software verification procedures
- Witness sample software tests on-site or in-house
- Prepare for surveillance audits and technical meetings
- Lead surveillance audits and technical meetings
- Perform final conformity reviews
- Ensure as-built software matches certified design
- Formally sign the Declaration of Compliance
