Requirements
- •3–5 years of event and/or community management experience
- •Fluency in German and English
- •Proven end-to-end delivery of professional events
- •Strong project management and operations skills
- •Excellent written and verbal communication
- •Client-facing presence with strong relationship-building skills
- •Hands-on familiarity with event platforms
- •Experience creating event marketing assets
- •Comfort with CRM and basic reporting
- •Willingness to work occasional evenings/weekends
- •Ability to handle physical aspects of event setup
- •Background in AI, SaaS, or innovation ecosystems
- •Experience promoting/renting event spaces
- •Proficiency with tools like HubSpot, Jira, Webflow
- •Design and content skills
- •Knowledge of safety, accessibility, and event compliance
- •Experience designing sponsorship packages

Tasks
- •Manage the full lifecycle of events to promote Kambria’s and Berlin Bytes’ products and services
- •Lead event logistics, including AV setup, registration, catering, security, and post-event cleaning
- •Host events by welcoming attendees, emceeing, managing event flow, and troubleshooting issues
- •Handle post-event activities, including sending thank-you notes, collecting feedback, and updating CRM records
- •Report on event performance and metrics
- •Manage event budgets and explore sponsorship opportunities
- •Maintain strong vendor relationships for cost-efficiency and quality
- •Identify and evaluate external industry events for team participation
- •Secure speaking slots or passes and coordinate team attendance and preparation
- •Develop co-marketing initiatives with the RevOps team to grow event attendance and partnerships
- •Outreach to local ecosystems, managing email and social campaigns, and preparing media kits
- •Develop and manage a program of onsite partner events at the Berlin office
- •Serve as the primary contact for external organizers and speakers for onsite events
- •Build partnerships with Berlin-based communities, startups, VCs, and associations
- •Oversee Berlin office venue operations and rentals, managing rental packages and bookings
- •Process all related documentation, including contracts and invoicing
