Developing new optical architectures for mobile phone imaging, including fixed focal and zoom lenses, at a global ICT provider. Proven experience with optical systems development required; Ph.D. in optics preferred. Independent project ownership, with focus on global patent contributions.
Requirements
- Proven experience in designing and developing camera optical systems
- Strong theoretical knowledge in geometrical, diffractive, and/or physical optics
- Ph.D. in optics-related fields preferred
- Proficiency with optical design and simulation software
- Programming skills considered a plus
- Excellent problem identification, analysis, and solving abilities
- Systematic and goal-oriented work approach
- Fluency in English (written and oral)
- Openness to cooperation and teamwork with multiple cultural backgrounds
Tasks
- Conduct research on mobile phone imaging lenses

- Draft patents for new technologies

- Explore advanced technologies in relevant fields
- Collaborate closely with team members and other departments
- Engage with industry resources to meet business objectives
- Participate in academic conferences and publish research
- Present research achievements at leading conferences
