Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil/Structural Engineering
  • Experience with CAD applications, Autodesk, AVEVA, Hexagon products
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in Trimble/TEKLA, Autodesk suite, AutoCAD, AutoCAD Electrical, Vault administration
  • Software issue troubleshooting ability
  • Understanding of software development techniques and processes
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong planning and organizational skills
  • Strong understanding of CAD software applications
  • Ability to meet export control regulations (US and other countries)

Tasks

  • Contribute to selecting, developing, and maintaining CAD tools.
  • Troubleshoot software issues and develop solutions.
  • Support populating and maintaining plant data.
  • Support the CAD Administration Lead daily.
  • Support Trimble/TEKLA and AutoDesk administration.
  • Plan, schedule, and execute assignments independently.
  • Oversee 3D model and engineering data generation.
  • Ensure models capture design information for disciplines.
  • Ensure compliance with project and quality requirements.
  • Oversee creation and revision control of drawings.
  • Oversee data management tools for CAD data.
  • Perform software administration tasks.
  • Communicate with software vendors.
  • Approve and review software license usage.
  • Develop and maintain CAD tool interfaces with stakeholders.
  • Ensure interfaces support data collection and reporting.
