Senior IT Support Engineer(m/w/x)
Global IT support for aerospace and automation technologies, including printer installation and Microsoft application support. Exceptional analytical troubleshooting skills required. All travel expenses met.
Requirements
- Computer related Degree/Diploma/Microsoft or IT Professional Certification or equivalent work experience
- Exceptional analytical and methodical troubleshooting abilities
- Proficient German verbal and written communication
- Proficient English verbal and written communication
- Advantageous Italian verbal & written
- At least 5 years IT support experience
- Solid understanding of Microsoft Windows OS management
- Proficient hardware and software troubleshooting
- Proficient root-cause analysis and issue resolution
- Exceptional customer service orientation
- Understanding of larger IT Enterprise setup
- Experience supporting manufacturing business concepts
- SAP user level experience
- ServiceNOW platform experience
- High-level understanding of ITIL Framework concept
- Self-motivated with strong work ethic
Tasks
- Administer Windows desktops and laptops
- Provide on-site and remote operational support
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot printers
- Support Microsoft applications (Office, Visio, Project)
- Ensure compliance with Enterprise Anti-Virus and security tools
- Support mobile phones (iPhone and Android)
- Liaise with hardware and software vendors
- Maintain conference room equipment (video conferencing, conference phones)
- Troubleshoot issues unresolved by the IT Service Desk
- Act as a point of contact for day-to-day IT support
- Respond dynamically to requests from multiple sources
- Prioritize workload to achieve required outcomes
- Provide remote IT support for traveling users
- Maintain communication racks and patch wall ports
- Place hardware orders
- Interact directly with Teledyne employees for IT issues
- Monitor backups and restores
- Maintain the onsite server room to enterprise standards
- Support SOX compliance initiatives
- Conduct SOX audits of assigned sites
- Participate in periodic project work
- Handle technology refresh tasks
- Implement system upgrades and new software deployments
- Support facility relocations and domain migrations
- Assist with business-specific projects
