Business Services Representative - Region Central(m/w/x)
Maximizing service sales for medical technology at Point of Sale. Fluent English and German required, with sales experience in commercial or healthcare industry a plus. Hybrid work, 4-week workation option.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in science, business, or equivalent experience
- Fluent English and German, French or Eastern European language a plus
- Ability to process and analyze data in online systems (Power BI, ServiceMax, excel)
- Sales experience in commercial or healthcare industry a plus
- Solution selling skills and commercial mindset
- Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, and listening skills
- Result driven and action oriented
- Good organization skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and CRM (SFDC)
- Proactive and entrepreneurial mindset with networking ability
- Experience in direct medical device selling or contract selling desirable
- Experience in Technical Service/Commercial organization desirable
Tasks
- Serve as main point of contact for Central Hub
- Maximize service sales at Point of Sale
- Convert, renew, sell, and upsell service offerings
- Cover MMS portfolio for existing and prospective customers
- Maintain process adherence and meet revenue targets
- Respond to tender-related service requests
- Provide descriptive and pricing tender responses
- Escalate pricing discount issues
- Perform direct service sales in defined territory
- Manage service sales call flow for internal and external customers
- Close leads into sales according to process
- Identify, qualify, and close service sales for segmented customers
- Manage contract opportunities using BD Way of Selling
- Collaborate with commercial team to arrange campaigns
- Prepare and present customer proposals
- Negotiate customer proposals by phone and email
- Visit customers on an ad hoc basis
- Revise and renew customer agreements annually
- Prepare and send service contract materials
- Collect purchase orders and coordinate invoicing
- Create and maintain service contract records
- Follow up on accounts and contracts with clients and BD Field Service
- Manage monthly service revenue reconciliation and accruals
- Maintain service contract forecasting tool
- Achieve financial sales goals and performance
- Collaborate on budgeting and forecasting
- Develop and present revenue projections and forecasts
- Prepare analyses and reconciliations
- Ensure timely revenue recognition and accounting
- Monitor and evaluate service sales performance
- Meet revenue and profit goals
- Track installed base clients and lifecycle
- Identify sales opportunities for end-of-life products
- Build ongoing relationships with key accounts
- Promote service portfolio and assess customer needs
- Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers
- Embody trust, integrity, and ethics
