Tasks

  • Contribute to global growth and profitability of AbbVie’s CMO
  • Qualify and drive new business opportunities in Operations Commercial Manufacturing
  • Collaborate with marketing to provide input on marketing direction
  • Relay customer feedback and provide industry insights
  • Detail AbbVie CMO's purpose, mission, service offerings, and value proposition
  • Speak fluently about business units and address customer questions
  • Deliver site/service presentations to potential clients
  • Respond promptly to marketing inquiries
  • Assess potential manufacturing opportunities for high-level fit
  • Evaluate companies' financials, including capital raises and commercial revenue
  • Ensure sufficient cash to fund potential programs
  • Review and discuss customer technical needs
  • Make high-level technical assessments
  • Review customer manufacturing demand and commercial proposition
  • Perform economic value assessments
  • Recommend advancing or disqualifying opportunities
  • Add and update leads and opportunities in SalesForce
  • Manage CDA review and approval process
  • Understand and address standard CDA negotiation terms
  • Manage cross-functional team for deeper technical and capacity assessments
  • Communicate client's process, technical, and capacity requirements
  • Generate and deliver stage-based proposals
  • Work with site operations leadership to provide manufacturing and demand assumptions
  • Create PnL for programs and provide recommended pricing
  • Deliver proposal components to clients
  • Coordinate and lead site visits
  • Prepare and manage internal team for site visits
  • Act as point of contact for contract communications
  • Modify contracts and generate initial redlines
  • Participate in contract negotiations
  • Collaborate with marketing on lead generation
  • Generate articles and case studies
  • Update website and cutsheets
  • Travel to and work conferences to meet potential clients
  • Provide projected sales and margin for key opportunities
  • Create summary slides for programs
  • Work with PDS&T to create FTE estimates for tech transfer activities
