B2 Licensed Aircraft Engineer(m/w/x)
Scheduled/unscheduled maintenance, troubleshooting, and upgrades on communication, navigation, radar, and autopilot systems, interpreting wiring diagrams. EASA Part 66 B2 certification or equivalent, plus 3 years avionics maintenance experience required. Work in a highly regulated aviation environment.
Requirements
- Valid EASA Part 66 B2 License or equivalent
- Extensive knowledge of aircraft electrical, electronics, and avionics systems
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in aircraft avionics maintenance or modifications
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills with avionics equipment
- Ability to read and interpret complex wiring diagrams and technical manuals
- Proficiency in using electrical testing equipment
- High attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- EASA Part 66 B2 License or equivalent qualification
- Aircraft Type Ratings on relevant aircraft models
- Human Factors certification
- Current EWIS certificate
- Fuel Tank Safety certification (Level 1 and 2 preferred)
- Updated training on relevant regulations
- Type ratings on multiple aircraft types
- Experience with advanced avionics systems
- Experience in both line and base maintenance environments
- Certification in avionics troubleshooting techniques
Tasks
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on aircraft avionics and electrical systems
- Troubleshoot and repair aircraft electronics, including communication, navigation, radar, and autopilot systems
- Conduct pre-flight and post-flight inspections of electrical and avionics systems
- Carry out avionics modifications and upgrades according to manufacturer and regulatory guidelines
- Read and interpret wiring diagrams, technical manuals, and engineering documents
- Complete maintenance documentation and logbooks accurately
- Collaborate with the flight crew to ensure proper functioning of avionics systems
- Calibrate and test avionics instruments for proper operation
- Supervise and guide junior technicians in their tasks
- Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards during maintenance activities
- Liaise with regulatory authorities and participate in audits or inspections
- Stay updated on new technologies, regulations, and industry best practices
