Avionics Hardware Engineer - Power Distribution Unit(m/w/x)

Requirements
- BSc/MSc in Electrical Engineering, Energy Science and Technology or comparable
- 2+ years of working experience with complex PCBs, electronic and power units
- Excellent knowledge of power electronics, semiconductors, and solid-state power controllers
- Excellent knowledge of circuit theory and signal processing
- Experience in E-CAD tools (Schematic & Layout Design), preferably Altium Designer
- Experience in verification of complex circuitry (embedded systems, DCDC converter, analog frontends)
- Hands-on mentality and can-do attitude
- Fluent spoken and written English
- Previous product ownership
- Experience with Li-ion batteries
- Experience in embedded software
- Affiliations with countries listed under § 13 para. 1 no. 17 SÜG may affect application process due to security clearance
Tasks
- Design and integrate power units for launch vehicles
- Develop, test, and manage the Power Distribution Unit
- Manage interfaces and ensure timely, budgeted, and scoped delivery
- Adapt to fast-paced, interdisciplinary R&D tasks
- Own the Power Distribution Unit for current and next-generation products
- Oversee all product interfaces from design to manufacturing
- Conduct design, qualification, and acceptance testing
- Integrate and analyze product returns
- Plan and execute vehicle integration and testing
- Maintain and verify Power System requirements
- Build and maintain automated testing infrastructure
- Participate in defining Avionics Power System architecture
- Contribute to technology roadmaps
