Requirements

  • Adjudicated TS/SCI clearance
  • CCNA – Video (Collaboration)
  • BA/BS + 5 years recent specialized experience or AA/AS + 9 years recent specialized experience or major certification + 9 years recent specialized experience or 13 years of recent specialized experience
  • TESA Eligibility
  • IAT Level II or greater (Security +/CASP/etc)
  • Proficient use of MS Office, MS Project, SharePoint, Excel
  • Strong technical writing, documentation, presentation and organizational skills
  • ITIL v3 – Foundation
  • Adaptability to changing circumstances and operational needs
  • Understanding of Department of Defense Military standards
  • Experience with Cisco Routers and Switches

Tasks

  • Support VTC equipment including routers, switches, firewalls, and encryption devices
  • Ensure system availability outside of maintenance windows
  • Apply system and network hardening actions as directed
  • Provide remote and direct support for VTC issues
  • Perform preventative maintenance to detect faults early
  • Maintain software and firmware on VTC devices for optimal performance
  • Create and update standard operating procedure documentation for configurations
  • Utilize SolarWinds and monitoring tools to enhance service quality and restore outages
