Requirements

  • Several years of professional experience in textile product development, design, or merchandising
  • Bachelor's degree in graphic design or comparable education
  • General knowledge of textile product development, print methods, production, material constraints, and timelines
  • Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, OneNote, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Excellent spoken and written English skills
  • Comfortable with design/development processes, managing feedback, criticism, and creative direction
  • Solution-oriented, results-driven with strong problem-solving skills, experience handling multiple projects
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Good project management and communication skills, clear information sharing, precise instructions
  • Structured working manner with attention to detail, consistency, and compliance with guidelines
  • Strong interest in Nintendo products and Japanese culture
  • Experience in marketing material creation, coordination, and approval is a plus
  • Onsite presence in Frankfurt office at least three days per week
  • Mandatory submission of own portfolio for hiring process
  • Position may be Associate depending on professional experience

Tasks

  • Validate licensed and Nintendo merchandise
  • Ensure products meet company guidelines and quality standards
  • Accelerate approval process with design proposals
  • Communicate adjustment points to suppliers and licensees
  • Educate internal and external partners on Nintendo IP guidelines
  • Manage assets provided to licensees
  • Develop process documents and training materials
  • Collect and archive product samples
  • Coordinate with Nintendo teams in Japan and US
  • Perform administrative and design tasks as assigned
