As an Applied Scientist, you will engage in building innovative ML and optimization systems that enhance inventory health and order fulfillment for B2B logistics partners. Your work will directly impact product development and drive efficiency across a diverse range of partners.

Requirements

• •Educational background in a quantitative field, Masters degree or higher preferred
• •3+ years of hands-on industry experience in Applied Scientist, Data Scientist, or Research Scientist role
• •Industry demonstrated knowledge in Machine Learning or Deep Learning, Machine Learning Engineering, or Operations Research and Optimization
• •Proficiency in SQL and experience with large-scale datasets
• •Strong communication skills to explain complex scientific concepts
• •Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to balance research with pragmatism
• •Passion for learning and growing by doing
• •Excellent communication skills and openness to feedback

Tasks

• •Build ML/DL forecasting models for demand, returns, and lead-times
• •Develop stochastic inventory optimization solutions
• •Create recommendation services for inventory insights
• •Collaborate with product and user research to define problems
• •Influence the product roadmap with scientific expertise
• •Tackle complex challenges in inventory optimization and demand forecasting
• •Design and implement recommender systems for assortment planning
• •Own projects from research and prototyping to production
• •Define success metrics and collaborate with engineers for deployment
• •Monitor the real-world impact of models on partner KPIs
• •Develop platform-level services for multiple partners
