Requirements
- 5+ years in application delivery, platform ownership, or IT solution architecture
- 3+ years as R&D Veeva Vault Architect or 5+ years as Functional/Configuration Specialist
- Strong background in pharma, biotech, or life sciences
- Deep functional knowledge in at least one Vault domain
- Understanding of platform architecture and data governance
- Experience in complex environments and driving change
- Knowledge of ITIL and service management principles
- Experience with Agile or DevOps
- Ability to bridge technical and business needs
- Flexible, creative problem solver and change advocate
- Ability to translate business processes into system solutions
- Effective communicator and trusted partner
Tasks
- Own the Veeva Vault platform design and evolution
- Define platform-wide design principles and standards
- Develop the Veeva platform roadmap
- Collaborate across Vaults to define application roadmaps
- Enforce architecture, data, and security standards
- Oversee integrations with ERP and identity systems
- Ensure platform scalability and performance
- Lead platform governance and design reviews
- Approve key technical decisions across the platform
- Resolve complex integration and compliance issues
- Align solutions with enterprise architecture and security
- Provide strategic guidance to senior stakeholders
- Advise on Quality, Regulatory, and R&D requirements
- Gather requirements to ensure business value
- Mentor internal teams and configuration specialists
- Guide delivery partners on high-quality implementations
- Ensure compliance with GxP and 21 CFR Part 11
- Oversee validation strategy and CSV documentation
- Optimize the platform to improve operational efficiency
- Monitor Veeva roadmap and regulatory advancements
