  • 4+ years Life Science tools experience
  • 2+ years selling in related market
  • Western-Blot and automated Immunoassay experience
  • Interpersonal, presentation, and time management skills
  • Knowledge of reagents and lab techniques
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to speak technically with customers
  • Proficient listening, understanding, and questioning skills
  • MS Office, PowerPoint, and Salesforce.com proficiency
  • High degree of independence and self-starter
  • Teamwork skills and interest
  • Highly motivated and independent

Tasks

  • Sell automated capillary electrophoresis-based immunoassay instruments
  • Sell single cell dispensers and related consumables
  • Develop strategic sales plans for the instrument portfolio
  • Increase sales and grow market share in the territory
  • Achieve sales targets using consultative selling methods
  • Maintain and develop business in existing and new accounts
  • Collaborate with the Commercial Team for a coordinated customer approach
  • Visit customers 75% of the time in the assigned territory
  • Understand standard scientific methods and equipment
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts for instruments and reagents
  • Manage leads, customers, and opportunities in SalesForce
  • Plan and execute account management to meet goals
  • Ensure customers understand product value and applications
