Requirements

- More than 1 year experience in medical affairs
- Experience in pharmaceutical industry
- Over 1 year experience in Medical Affairs Departments
- Proven expertise on evidence generation activities
- Ability to work in cross-functional teams
- Maintain objectives in matrix setting
- Strong analysis and problem-solving skills
- Excellent organization skills
- Ability to meet tight timelines
- Experience supporting business strategy
- Interest in developing expert knowledge in medical affairs
- Interest in developing expert knowledge in research

Tasks
- Ensure local Medical Excellence & Operations activities comply with AbbVie processes, Code of Business Conduct, ethics, regulations, and local laws.
- Provide leadership and functional expertise for medical activities.
- Manage high-level projects for medical activities.
- Oversee evidence generation for medical activities.
- Manage medical planning processes.
- Manage Quality System documentation for medical activities.
- Support medical operations for non-interventional studies.
- Support medical operations for investigator-initiated studies.
- Support medical operations for collaborative research studies.
- Ensure compliance with local laws and AbbVie requirements for studies.
- Interact with Global, Area, and local medical teams on issues, timelines, and resources.
- Build competence and support for medical affairs teams in RWE studies.
- Support strategic and innovative primary & secondary evidence generation projects.
- Ensure inspection and audit readiness.
- Support local implementation of Global Medical Excellence Programs.
- Tailor global programs to local needs for infield team excellence and innovation.
- Support creation of study budgets for evidence generation projects.
- Facilitate control of study budgets for evidence generation projects.
- Liaise with the financial department on PTP processes.
- Oversee invoicing for evidence generation projects.
- Manage local vendor services contracting for evidence generation.
- Maintain local medical compliance with Quality System documentation.
- Manage procedures, working instructions, and guidance for Local Medical Affairs.
- Maintain supporting documents owned by the Affiliate Medical Department.
