Requirements

- More than 1 year of experience in medical affairs
- Experience in pharmaceutical industry
- Proven expertise on evidence generation activities

- Strong analysis and pro-active problem-solving skills

Tasks
- Ensure local Medical Excellence & Operations comply with AbbVie processes, Code of Business Conduct, ethics, regulations, and local laws.
- Provide leadership and functional expertise for medical activities.
- Manage high-level projects for medical activities.
- Oversee evidence generation activities.
- Manage planning processes for medical activities.
- Manage Quality System documentation for medical activities.
- Support medical operations for non-interventional studies.
- Support medical operations for investigator-initiated studies.
- Support medical operations for collaborative research studies.
- Ensure compliance with local laws and guidelines for studies.
- Ensure compliance with AbbVie's internal requirements for studies.
- Interact with Global, Area, and local medical teams on issues, timelines, and resources.
- Build competence and support for strategic evidence generation studies.
- Build competence and support for innovative evidence generation studies.
- Support RWE studies and projects (e.g., HTA).
- Ensure inspection readiness.
- Ensure audit readiness.
- Support local implementation of Global Medical Excellence Programs.
- Tailor global programs to local needs.
- Focus on infield team excellence.
- Focus on innovation in infield teams.
- Support creation of study budgets for evidence generation projects.
- Facilitate control of study budgets for evidence generation projects.
- Liaise with the financial department on PTP processes.
- Oversee invoicing for evidence generation projects.
- Manage local Vendor Services contracting for evidence generation.
- Maintain local medical compliance with Quality System documentation.
- Manage procedures applicable to Local Medical Affairs.
- Manage working instructions applicable to Local Medical Affairs.
- Manage guidance documents applicable to Local Medical Affairs.
- Manage other supporting documents owned by Affiliate Medical Department.
