Requirements

  • •Aerospace engineering degree or similar (M.Sc.)
  • •Several years of working experience in fluid dynamics, aerodynamics, and aerothermodynamics analysis
  • •Experience with CAD software (e.g. Inventor, CATIA, or PTC Creo)
  • •Extensive experience with CFD software (e.g. Ansys, OpenFOAM)
  • •Proactive thinking, high level of motivation, flexibility, and teamwork skills
  • •Proficiency in both German and English
  • •Experience working in a startup environment favorable

Tasks

  • •Analyze external aerodynamics for two-staged aircraft configurations
  • •Examine aerothermodynamics for spaceplanes in the hypersonic regime
  • •Apply analytical, empirical, and numerical methods for aerodynamics analysis
  • •Conduct CFD analyses from subsonic to hypersonic, including preprocessing and postprocessing
  • •Analyze inlet flows for air-breathing propulsion
