Requirements

  • •Aerospace engineering degree (M.Sc.)
  • •Several years of working experience in fluid dynamics, aerodynamics, or aerothermodynamics analysis
  • •Experience with CAD software (e.g. Inventor, CATIA, or PTC Creo)
  • •Extensive experience with CFD software (e.g. Ansys, OpenFOAM)
  • •Work experience in a start-up environment
  • •Proactive thinking, high level of motivation, flexibility, and teamwork skills
  • •Proficiency in both German and English

Tasks

  • •Analyze external aerodynamics for spaceplanes across subsonic to hypersonic flow regimes
  • •Conduct aerothermodynamic analysis for spaceplanes in the hypersonic regime
  • •Apply analytical, empirical, and numerical methods to aerodynamics and aerothermodynamics problems
  • •Perform CFD analyses in subsonic to hypersonic flow regimes, including preprocessing and postprocessing tasks
  • •Analyze internal nozzle and inlet flows for air-breathing and rocket propulsion systems
