Requirements

  • University degree (Bachelor’s or Master’s) in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Electrical Engineering, or comparable qualification
  • Relevant professional experience in account management, particularly managing demanding automotive customers
  • Expertise in contract negotiations, pricing, and financial evaluation
  • Excellent analytical, strategic, and tactical thinking with a solution-oriented approach
  • High customer orientation and strong communication/presentation skills across management levels
  • Strong interpersonal skills and cultural sensitivity in international business
  • Experience with international customers and internal global teams
  • Hands-on mentality and high personal initiative
  • High resilience and ability to perform under pressure
  • Experience using AI-powered tools for efficiency and optimization
  • Independent, structured, and responsible working style
  • Very good command of Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel formulas and functions
  • SAP knowledge is an advantage
  • Fluent German and English skills (negotiation-level, C1)
  • Willingness to travel regularly for business

Tasks

  • Manage multiple customers for sustainable revenue growth
  • Handle the entire sales cycle from opportunity identification to closing agreements
  • Develop and maintain existing series production business
  • Conduct annual price negotiations and manage customer requirements
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities
  • Expand the existing product portfolio
  • Present new products and solutions to customers
  • Participate in customer-specific new product development
  • Define and implement forward-looking sales strategies
  • Share responsibility for pricing to increase profitability
  • Build long-term customer relationships and networks
  • Support global business operations with customers
  • Manage contracts and claims with internal coordination
