Requirements
- Significant enterprise B2B software sales experience
- Experience selling into European institutions
- Understanding of EU procurement frameworks
- Ability to engage with technical stakeholders
- Exceptional English communication skills
- Command of value-based selling methodologies
- Willingness to work in early-stage companies
- Experience selling AI or data solutions
- Network within EU agency IT units
- Familiarity with GDPR and public-cloud compliance
- Knowledge of EU AI Act provisions
Tasks
- Develop strategic account plans for European agencies
- Identify key use cases and decision-makers
- Manage the end-to-end sales cycle
- Design solutions with Value Engineering
- Negotiate and close contracts
- Navigate complex EU procurement processes
- Partner with Marketing on outbound campaigns
- Participate in EU AI summits and conferences
- Surface customer requirements for Product and Engineering
- Feed market insights into the product roadmap
- Maintain accurate forecasting in the CRM
- Update leadership on pipeline and deal progress
- Represent deepset at executive briefings and forums
- Collaborate with Partners to leverage SI relationships
- Travel frequently for customer visits and onsites
