Account Executive - Enterprise Sales - New Business(m/w/x)
Closing new business sales for an AI-first observability platform. Demonstrable quota-carrying SaaS sales experience required. Flexible hybrid work, office-based, and remote options.
Requirements
- Demonstrable quota-carrying sales experience, preferably SaaS/DevOps/Cloud
- Hunter mentality for new business acquisition
- Familiarity with modern sales methodologies (MEDDPICC, Challenger, Command of Message)
- Exceptional presentation skills
- Ability to articulate complex technical concepts
- Fluency in German
- Fluency in English
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
- Verify identity and eligibility to work
- Criminal background check required
- Consideration of arrest/conviction records per law
- Pass export compliance assessment if relevant
Tasks
- Identify and qualify new business opportunities
- Close sales within a defined territory
- Manage the full sales cycle
- Prospect into target enterprise accounts
- Combine inbound leads with strategic outbound efforts
- Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly quotas
- Lead discovery calls
- Coordinate product demonstrations
- Navigate the procurement process
- Understand German enterprise customer pain points
- Map New Relic’s capabilities to business objectives
- Ensure the solution is viewed as a value-driver
- Maintain accurate sales forecasts
- Document all sales activities in Salesforce
- Partner with Sales Engineers and SDRs
- Collaborate with Customer Success
- Ensure a seamless prospect experience
- Achieve a high win rate against competitors
