Requirements

  • 3+ years closing experience in B2B SaaS, complex/technical product, or energy solutions sales
  • Ability to manage and close multi-stakeholder deals
  • Experience selling into manufacturing, industrial, or energy-adjacent verticals
  • Conceptual thinking and business case building
  • Comfort with ambiguity and process shaping
  • Self-assuredness with constructive pushback ability
  • Professional proficiency in German (C2)
  • English proficiency
  • Willingness to work within structured qualification framework
  • Experience at Series A/B startup
  • Familiarity with energy management, sustainability, or climate-tech
  • Hands-on CRM tools experience (HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar)
  • Existing network in German Mittelstand / manufacturing SMB

Tasks

  • Own new customer acquisition in the manufacturing mid-market
  • Own the deal cycle from lead to close
  • Run discovery calls
  • Conduct solution demos
  • Deliver business case presentations to decision makers
  • Navigate multi-stakeholder deals with technical and commercial buyers
  • Manage a structured, multi-stage sales process
  • Communicate customer-specific business cases with measurable ROI
  • Drive pipeline with Marketing & SDR
  • Work with SDR-qualified leads
  • Contribute to pipeline generation through your network
  • Conduct strategic outreach for self-sourced opportunities
  • Manage multiple concurrent deals
  • Improve the sales process and CRM
  • Follow our structured qualification and closing framework
  • Embrace disciplined deal management
  • Maintain rigorous CRM hygiene
  • Track opportunities, activities, and deal stages accurately
  • Use data to prioritize pipeline and flag risks
  • Provide product and market feedback to the Product team
  • Build relationships with key decision-makers
  • Conduct on-site visits to deepen trust
  • Become a trusted advisor to manufacturing SMBs
  • Advise on energy cost optimization and transition
