Description

In this role, you will engage in daily accounting tasks while collaborating with departments such as IT and Operations. You will also have the opportunity to enhance your skills in system integrations, reporting, and controlling, ensuring that each day is varied and impactful.

Requirements

• •Commercial training, accounting qualification, or degree in Finance / Accounting
• •Several years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping
• •Strong knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger accounting
• •Experience with monthly closings, accruals, and fixed assets
• •Experience with SAP FI / SAP W40
• •Interest in systems, processes, and automation within an accounting environment
• •Solid Excel skills
• •Structured, detail-oriented, and independent working style
• •Very good English skills; German is a strong plus

Tasks

• •Post and code vendor invoices, including review and reconciliation
• •Prepare customer invoices for domestic and international clients using SAP W40 / SAP FI
• •Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings
• •Manage accruals, deferrals, and provisions for proper period allocation
• •Handle fixed asset accounting, including additions, disposals, and depreciation
• •Conduct intercompany reconciliations and assist with financial statement reviews
• •Perform ongoing GL account reconciliations and clarify booking differences
• •Collaborate closely with external accounting partners in Germany and abroad
• •Contribute to accounting-related IT and system topics, such as automation and backend workflows
• •Gradually engage in controlling tasks, including analyses, reporting, and management dashboards
• •Assist with tax-related topics, including VAT classification and accounting process alignment
