Requirements
- •MD, PhD, or PharmD
- •Minimum 10 years of experience in medical affairs or clinical development
- •Extensive experience in biotech or pharmaceutical industry, particularly in rare diseases or neurology
- •Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
- •Proven track record in leading medical affairs strategies and teams or clinical studies at a regional level
- •Strong knowledge of European healthcare landscape and regulatory environment
- •Ability to build effective professional relationships across functional areas
- •Experience in a matrix, cross-functional environment; excellent collaboration skills
- •Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, innovative environment
- •Outstanding work ethic and integrity
- •Strong interpersonal skills, particularly motivational and negotiation skills
- •Fluency in English; proficiency in additional European languages
- •Ability to travel across Europe as needed

- •Lead the development and execution of the EMEA medical affairs strategy
- •Provide medical insights for business and regulatory decisions
- •Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure scientific alignment
- •Develop medical strategy and content for congresses and advisory boards
- •Disseminate accurate and scientifically sound medical information
- •Lead the creation of region-specific scientific publications and presentations
- •Deliver scientific presentations to diverse audiences
- •Represent the company at key scientific and medical conferences
- •Develop and maintain relationships with regional KOLs and HCPs
- •Engage with external experts to gather insights and strengthen partnerships
- •Support the development and approval of promotional materials
- •Provide medical support for clinical development and research in Europe
- •Assess medical education needs and develop educational strategies
- •Coordinate investigator-initiated studies with academic institutions
- •Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and ethical guidelines
- •Support regulatory submissions and product launches
- •Lead and mentor a team of medical affairs professionals
- •Foster a culture of continuous learning within the medical affairs team
