Requirements

  • •Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related technical field
  • •Over 6 years of hands-on experience developing rotating machinery or components
  • •Experience performing turbopump analyses (structural, modal, or rotordynamics)
  • •Knowledge of turbopump assembly procedures
  • •Familiarity with cryogenic fluids
  • •Proficient user of ANSYS or equivalent
  • •Proficient CAD user (Siemens NX is an asset)
  • •Fluency in English

  • •Lead turbopump mechanical design from architecture to component design
  • •Perform detailed mechanical analysis on turbopump components and assembly

  • •Develop validation and verification tools for turbopump mechanical design
  • •Iterate turbopump designs using simulated and real-world test data
