Trading Operator(m/w/x)
Coordinating vessel movements and optimizing logistics for crude oil and refined products. Engineering background and understanding of refinery operations required. Daily shift work, 24/7 operational coverage.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Engineering, Business, Finance or related field
- First experience in fast-paced, international environment
- Engineering background (Chemical, Process, Petroleum or Energy)
- Strong interest in energy, commodities, trading, refining or shipping
- Good understanding of refinery operations, processes, and units
- Knowledge of petroleum product specifications, yields, and constraints
- Rigorous, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities
- Enjoyment of solving problems and coordinating stakeholders
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, risk awareness
- Comfortable in dynamic, high-pressure environment
- Team spirit, flexibility, strong sense of commitment
- Proactive, curious, and willing to learn
- Comfortable with IT tools and data-driven working
Tasks
- Coordinate logistics for loading and discharging operations
- Follow up on vessel movements and optimize operational timelines
- Liaise with traders, counterparties, service providers, and internal teams
- Manage storage and processing contracts, including quantities and qualities
- Identify and resolve operational issues with stakeholders
- Support financial guarantee management with the Credit department
- Monitor transaction costs and communicate operational data
- Review feasibility of trading negotiations and formalize contracts
- Handle claims, insurance matters, and damage reports
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and HSE standards
- Support invoicing, payment follow-up, and recovery processes
