Description

As a Technical Coordinator for the Horizon EU Project, you will lead the development of cutting-edge RISC-V AI chiplets, translating consortium needs into actionable plans while managing communications and resolving technical challenges across teams.

Requirements

• •Advanced degree (Master’s or PhD) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
• •5+ years of experience in HPC hardware and AI acceleration projects
• •Strong background in computer architecture, ASIC design, AI/HPC systems, and AI software stack
• •Hands-on experience with multi-node architectures, virtual prototyping, ASIC design, SIP integration, PCB design, and AI applications
• •Proven experience as a Technical Coordinator in Horizon EU or similar multi-partner collaborative research projects
• •Knowledge of EU reporting requirements, deliverable management, and consortium coordination
• •Experience with project management tools (e.g., Jira, EMDESK) and effort tracking/financial reporting for publicly funded programs
• •Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills; ability to interface effectively with technical teams, consortium partners, funding agencies, and internal program/finance teams
• •Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities, with capacity to manage multiple workstreams and work autonomously in complex, multi-stakeholder environments
• •Fluent in English

Tasks

• •Define and drive the technical strategy for the EU project
• •Translate consortium requirements into actionable guidance
• •Serve as the primary technical contact for project partners
• •Manage communications and coordinate meetings
• •Participate in all-hands, workshops, and consortium events
• •Resolve technical challenges in accelerator architecture
• •Address SIP and PCB design issues
• •Optimize system integration and AI workloads
• •Make autonomous decisions on consortium matters
• •Escalate critical issues when necessary
• •Collaborate with program management on roadmapping
• •Lead annual Project Plan updates
• •Monitor work package progress and track dependencies
• •Identify and manage risks to ensure timely delivery
• •Translate consortium requirements into actionable internal plans
• •Prepare technical reports for EU submissions
• •Represent Axelera AI at coordination meetings
• •Ensure compliance with Horizon EU requirements
• •Coordinate effort reporting and cost tracking
• •Validate submissions and support audit preparation
• •Minimize administrative burden on technical staff
