Tasks
- Lead and develop Subsystems Engineering team members
- Support employee growth and competency allocation
- Estimate effort and budget for Subsystem Owners' tasks
- Ensure quality and timely delivery of development activities
- Monitor budget status for development and deliverables
- Maintain operational stability and prioritize activities
- Coordinate Subsystem Owner activities across development and series support
- Develop subsystem knowledge management system
- Manage failure modes, validation, and design guidelines
- Lead 8D problem-solving activities
- Ensure lessons learned are capitalized
- Define Subsystems DVP&R for new projects and serial changes
- Resolve technical issues and project conflicts
- Manage supplier-related issues
- Support Subsystems Owners in supplier and customer discussions
- Report to Department Leader and Technical Core Team
