System Engineer - Flight Management Systems for UAV(m/w/x)

Requirements
- Degree in Aerospace Engineering or similar
- Experience with Machine Learning for planning/guidance/control of dynamical systems
- Systems-oriented thinking
- Strong coding skills in Python (Numpy, Torch, Tensorflow), Linux (vim, bash)
- Can-do attitude
- Excitement, curiosity, and openness to new technologies and their applications
- Experience with development in low and mid-TRLs
- High degree of motivation and willingness to work in an international team
- Language skills: English
- Awareness of compliance risks and commitment to integrity
Tasks
- Define Flight Management Systems architecture and interfaces
- Develop AI and Machine Learning algorithms for flight planning
- Adapt algorithms for flight guidance and control tasks
- Support technology maturation for flight demonstrations
- Document work for internal communication
- Prepare presentations for external conferences
- Search for use cases and new applications of developed technology
- Collaborate with transnational teams across various aircraft systems
