Requirements

  • Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering or related field
  • Strong understanding of flight dynamics and stability concepts
  • Experience with design of control laws for UAVs
  • Experience with MATLAB/Simulink and SCADE toolset for modeling and simulation
  • Experience with military certification standards (SSDS, AEP-4671, EMAR 21, MilStd 1797)
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively within a team environment
  • Fluency in English
  • German language skills would be a plus
  • Awareness of potential compliance risks
  • Commitment to act with integrity

Tasks

  • Develop advanced flight control laws and autopilot functionalities
  • Utilize MATLAB/Simulink and SCADE for design tasks
  • Conduct trade studies to identify optimal designs
  • Analyze flying qualities and aircraft performance requirements
  • Collaborate with engineers to integrate flight control laws into aircraft systems
  • Assess stability and flying qualities
  • Analyze flight test data for testing and validation
  • Generate certification evidence for compliance
