Requirements

  • •University degree in agricultural science, agronomy or related field
  • •Experience in sustainability certification or environmental standards
  • •Experience in managing sustainability projects and customer acquisition
  • •Experience with data analysis and certification tools
  • •Practical experience with certification systems and stakeholders
  • •Excellent English language skills
  • •Excellent Portuguese, Vietnamese, Chinese or Spanish skills
  • •Good German language skills as an asset
  • •Excellent communication, presentation and networking skills
  • •Strong analytical, organizational and decision-making abilities
  • •Independent, proactive and strategic working style
  • •High level of integrity, reliability and service orientation

Work Experience

Tasks

  • •Lead sustainability certification in assigned countries
  • •Coordinate with certification bodies and stakeholders
  • •Supervise certificate validation for 4C units
  • •Validate no-deforestation assessments and EUDR attestations
  • •Verify geodata and business partner maps
  • •Analyze integrity cases and monitor corrective actions
  • •Conduct on-site investigations and prepare reports
  • •Monitor relevant laws and regulations
  • •Drive international customer acquisition
  • •Maintain key stakeholder and partner relationships
  • •Provide training for sustainability programs
  • •Identify and engage strategic expansion partners
  • •Plan and implement strategic sustainability initiatives
  • •Develop system requirements and key documents
  • •Perform benchmarking and system improvement activities
  • •Supervise sustainability assistants as needed
  • •Build capacity for regional partners
  • •Organize and facilitate international sustainability events
  • •Represent the organization at global forums
