Supply Chain Manager - Global Clinical Supplies(m/w/x)
Planning demand and supply for clinical finished goods and drug substances. >5 years in chemical/pharmaceutical industry experience required. Transparency on supply constraints, contribution to Clinical Supply & Operations Planning process.
Requirements
- Degree in science, engineering, or equivalent
- Fluent English
- >5 years in chemical/pharmaceutical industry or >3 years in field of expertise
- Good expertise in related field
- Good knowledge of Drug Development process
- Basic project management, good organization and planning skills
- Knowledge of relevant regulations (e.g., GMP, HSE) and Novartis standards
- Problem-solving and idea generation skills
- Good presentation skills
- Intermediate leadership skills
- Very good communication, negotiation, interpersonal skills; ability to work in interdisciplinary teams
Tasks
- Plan demand and supply for clinical finished goods and drug substances
- Ensure demand fulfillment for assigned projects
- Contribute to Clinical Supply & Operations Planning process
- Provide transparency on supply constraints
- Manage supply-related aspects within TRD
- Lead and manage project and local network activities
- Participate in cross-functional teams
- Harmonize supply strategy within GCS
- Contribute to supply strategy for CHAD/PHAD/Biologics
- Participate in GPMM meetings for demand and supply alignment
- Ensure supply and regulatory aspects at TRD Sub-team CMC meetings
- Represent GCS at TRD Sub-team on supply chain aspects
- Contribute to portfolio manufacturing schedule alignment
- Define cost-efficient ordering levels to minimize waste
- Drive long-term demand and capacity planning
- Coordinate with CSPL, DPPL, DSPL, and TPL
- Adhere to SCM KPIs and project/unit SPE
- Manage functional performance indicators for supply planning
- Maintain data and digital savviness in SC domain
- Manage ordering and master data requirements in SAP
- Implement Rapid Response (Maestro) for supply and demand planning
- Establish supply chain design with Funds Flow, Customs & Trade Compliance
- Drive change control strategy for clinical supplies
- Assess impact on clinical supplies
- Contribute to regulatory submission strategy
- Integrate comparator supply strategy into TRD procurement
