Requirements
- Medical Technologist or Medical Biology degree (CFC, BTS, Bachelor, DUT, IUT) or equivalent foreign degree with Swiss Red Cross equivalency
- 3+ years flow cytometry lab experience
- 3+ years team supervision experience
- English and French fluency
- Computer literacy
Tasks
- Supervise daily production and non-production activities
- Monitor quality of testing services
- Assign trained personnel to complete workload
- Schedule department personnel to meet workflow demands
- Provide direct supervision and performance counseling
- Supervise non-production activities and obligations
- Support department manager during absences
- Ensure quality and timely performance of activities
- Report performance against targets and global standards
- Maintain regulatory compliance
- Communicate production and non-production standards
- Deliver performance reports and respond to inquiries
- Participate in client visits, audits, and inquiries
- Recruit, train, and retain employees
- Conduct technical training and development
- Assess and meet resource needs
- Develop plans for future resource needs
- Evaluate employee performance
- Work with manager on training and development plans
- Support marketing and sales in client requests
- Perform other duties as required
- Test patient samples in areas of competence
