Strategic Business Developer – Energy(m/w/x)
Winning six- to seven-digit consulting projects in the German energy market. Proven track record selling complex digitalization programs required. Profit share scheme, flexible working hours.
Requirements
- Proven track record selling complex consulting, technology, or digitalization programs in energy sector with deal references
- University degree, ideally technical or business-related
- Strong and active network in German energy market
- Experience closing large mandates with long sales cycles (6–12 months)
- High self-motivation and ability to deliver results with minimal management overhead
- Fluency in German and strong English skills
- Understanding of smart grids, grid planning, critical infrastructure regulation, sector coupling, or energy trading
Tasks
- Win new projects independently
- Utilize Zühlke’s expertise in Data & AI, digitalisation, and platform engineering
- Identify and qualify digitalisation and transformation projects
- Close projects in the six- to seven-digit range
- Build a solid sales pipeline within six months
- Engage utilities, grid operators, and energy service providers
- Challenge clients with industry insights and data-driven perspectives
- Question existing assumptions and reframe problems
- Guide clients towards innovative decisions
- Involve Zühlke colleagues for technical expertise and industry references
- Build strong C-level relationships based on substance
