Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science, Data Science, or related field, or enrollment in Master's/PhD program
  • Strong experience in Python or R, and basic understanding or interest in data science
  • Practical experience with R-Shiny and interest in platform integrations
  • Experience with SQL, backend solutions, and API development
  • Experience with version control systems (Git)
  • Experience or interest in lab automation and robotics
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good command of spoken and written English
  • NON-EU/-EFTA nationals need university confirmation for mandatory internship

Tasks

  • Contribute to lab automation and digitalization projects
  • Develop a digitalization platform for bioanalytics data
  • Build a data analysis pipeline in Genedata Screener
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to automate workflows
  • Analyze data and support ongoing research
  • Create a front-end and API integration for a new database
  • Translate an existing R-Shiny application into Genedata Screener
  • Gain hands-on experience with automated assays and workflows
  • Support projects focused on digitalization and data management
  • Learn about cutting-edge technologies in pharmaceutical R&D
