Requirements

  • •Apprenticeship as technician, technologist, or bachelor’s degree
  • •Minimum 8 years technical laboratory experience
  • •Ideally experience with fat-soluble active ingredients
  • •Proven hands-on spray-drying expertise
  • •Knowledge of formulation technologies or analytical devices
  • •Strong technical understanding and equipment enthusiasm
  • •Proficiency in Microsoft Office

  • •Excellent English communication skills
  • •German and multinational environment experience assets

Work Experience

Tasks

  • •Develop new product forms for fat-soluble and water-soluble actives
  • •Formulate products using emulsification, milling, and spray drying
  • •Utilize extrusion and related formulation technologies
  • •Analyze product forms through UV/VIS spectroscopy and particle size distribution
  • •Characterize products using viscosity, rheology, and microscopy
  • •Measure colorimetry, turbidity, and differential scanning calorimetry
  • •Execute, interpret, and report on laboratory trials
  • •Present trial results and findings occasionally
  • •Design trials to improve formulation recipes and processes
  • •Evaluate analytical data to support new idea generation
  • •Improve existing laboratory procedures
  • •Evaluate and implement new technologies
