Senior Sustainability Reporting & Engagement Lead(m/w/x)

Requirements

• Degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Communications, or related field
• 5-10 years' experience in sustainability or ESG reporting, preferably within global industrial or resource sectors
• Strong understanding of ESG frameworks and disclosure regulations (CSRD, GRI, SASB, TCFD, CDP, Ecovadis)
• Proven capability in regulatory interpretation, impact assessment, and cross-functional coordination
• Skilled communicator
• Experience in stakeholder engagement
• Sustainability narrative development
• Experience supporting data assurance and audit processes
• Familiarity with digital tools (Intelex, Qlik Sense, Power BI)

Tasks

• Lead end-to-end coordination of the Annual Sustainability Report
• Lead end-to-end coordination of related disclosure materials
• Manage Group submissions to CDP, Ecovadis, and Modern Slavery
• Manage Group submissions to other external frameworks
• Ensure alignment with major reporting standards (CSRD, GRI, SASB, TCFD)
• Ensure timely and accurate publication
• Develop and maintain a structured reporting calendar
• Develop and maintain reporting templates
• Develop and maintain content governance processes
• Continuously improve sustainability and ESG reporting
• Continuously improve ESG disclosure activities
• Continuously improve stakeholder engagement activities
• Deliver high-quality, transparent sustainability communications
• Partner with Communications and Group Sustainability teams
• Ensure coherent, evidence-based sustainability narratives
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders
• Serve as operational contact for banks, investors, and customers
• Respond to requests for ESG data and disclosure information
• Coordinate content for sustainability questionnaires
• Coordinate content for RFP responses
• Coordinate content for partner engagement platforms
• Ensure consistency and credibility of externally shared ESG data
• Ensure consistency and credibility of externally shared ESG positioning
• Ensure accurate, consistent ESG data, performance insights, and narratives
• Align ESG data with regulatory, investor, and customer expectations
• Provide verified ESG performance data
• Support sustainable financing, credit risk analysis, and customer due diligence
• Partner with Finance and Group Accounting teams
• Align sustainability data with financial reporting cycles
• Align sustainability data with assurance requirements
• Support CSRD program execution
• Manage regulatory impact analysis
• Monitor global ESG regulatory developments (CSRD, EU Taxonomy, ISSB)
• Monitor regional disclosure mandates
• Support impact assessments on emerging regulations
• Identify data gaps, system implications, and process adjustments
• Advise internal stakeholders on regulatory risks
• Advise internal stakeholders on disclosure requirements
• Advise internal stakeholders on readiness plans
• Support the Double Materiality Assessment (DMA) process under CSRD
• Contribute to designing compliant disclosure structures
• Coordinate with Legal, Finance, and Sustainability teams
• Ensure governance alignment and regulatory assurance
• Act as subject matter expert for Decarbonisation and GHG accounting
• Drive consistency in emissions and performance measurement
• Ensure consistent application of emissions methodologies
• Ensure consistent application of accounting methodologies
• Support integration into business and financial processes
• Support integration into business and financial decisions
• Support decarbonisation target setting and strategies
