- Consult with scientific and operational staff on technical issues
- Monitor and evaluate clinical assays for scientific performance
- Provide technical training for scientific and operational staff
- Advise departments like Project Management on scientific matters
- Contribute to long-term departmental planning and technical policies
- Manage scientific vendor relationships to improve capabilities
- Participate in client visits and deliver professional presentations
- Stay current with scientific literature and industry trends
- Promote laboratory capabilities at conferences and symposia
- Respond to urgent client needs and unscheduled deadlines
