Senior Scientist PMQ(m/w/x)
In this role, you will tackle non-routine product complaints and enhance quality procedures. Your daily responsibilities will involve investigating issues, collaborating with teams, and mentoring new employees, all while ensuring compliance and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelors in life sciences or related fields
- Advanced degree in Microbiology, Genomics, NextGen Sequencing, Chemistry, Bioinformatics or related sciences
- 3 years of work experience in technical product support, research and development, technical customer support, product complaint handling or related function
- Proficiency in technical writing
- Proficiency in English with strong communication and intercultural skills
- Hands-on experience
- Industry experience with Customer Support, field technical support, and face to face customer support and training
- Solid critical thinking and problem solving skills with a positive and creative attitude
- Collaborative mindset and ability to manage stakeholder relationships
- Good laboratory practices
- Good communication skills: verbal, writing, presentation, technical writing
Tasks
- Act as an escalation point for non-routine product complaints
- Develop and update complaint and inspection procedures
- Maintain and analyze problem logs to identify recurring issues
- Document and track contact information for complaints
- Report issues in accordance with company guidelines and regulations
- Collaborate with internal groups to address product inquiries
- Handle inquiries, complaints, and safety issues per ISO requirements
- Conduct investigations and experimental design for case resolution
- Perform data analysis to resolve product quality issues
- Communicate quality-related information to relevant organizations
- Collaborate with global and local functions to derive case measures
- Support product teams with case information for documentation updates
- Onboard and mentor new employees for knowledge transfer
- Create and approve notifications for new products
- Ensure compliance with laboratory policies and equipment inspections
- Support audits, inspections, and quality reviews
- Contribute to CAPA tasks for product quality enhancement
- Participate in cross-team meetings and projects
- Guide less experienced colleagues and act as a proxy for the Principal role
- Optimize processes to increase quality and efficiency standards
