Requirements

  • Solid experience in SAP Finance and/or Controlling
  • Several years of consulting experience or strong track record as a key user in finance or controlling
  • Initial exposure to S/4HANA and desire to deepen expertise
  • Familiarity with ABAP programming
  • Consulting mindset and fluency in German and English
  • Experience in SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud seen as a plus
  • Team player who takes initiative and ownership
  • Clear communication and effective organization skills
  • Enjoyment of solving complex challenges
  • Eagerness to learn and share knowledge
  • Thriving in a fast-evolving technology landscape

Tasks

  • Configure and optimize General Ledger processes
  • Implement Accounts Payable and Receivable processes
  • Manage Asset Accounting and Cost Center Accounting
  • Oversee Product Cost Controlling within SAP FI/CO
  • Gather and document requirements from stakeholders
  • Translate business needs into functional specifications
  • Design processes to meet customer expectations
  • Coach colleagues and share expertise in finance
  • Support competence development within the team
  • Lead unit, integration, and user-acceptance testing
  • Deliver training to end-users on SAP modules
  • Troubleshoot issues across SAP Finance and Controlling
  • Ensure integration with Sales and Distribution modules
  • Coordinate with Materials Management and Production Planning
  • Engage with customers to understand their business needs
  • Anticipate customer needs and propose solutions
  • Support sales processes with planning and solution scoping
  • Contribute to project management and execution of workstreams
  • Explore and test innovations in S/4HANA Finance
