- Hands-on experience with at least two of: knowledge graphs/ontology modeling, API design and middleware development, AI/ML (RAG, LLMs, adaptive learning), or content/asset management platforms
- Coding and scripting capability (Python, JavaScript, or similar)
- Ability to translate requirements into technical specifications
- Experience with IT governance frameworks and IT departments
- English fluency
- German language skills (advantage)
- Builder mindset; preference for prototyping and testing
- Systems thinking (platforms, data models, content structures)
- Comfort working at technology-education intersection
- Fast learning ability
- Staying current with AI and knowledge engineering developments
- Ability to work with non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to explain complex concepts simply
Tasks
- Design and develop ontology models.
- Design and develop content metadata schemas.
- Design and develop structured vocabularies.
- Build and maintain middleware for platforms and AI pipelines.
- Collaborate with Curriculum Design on educational taxonomy.
- Collaborate with clinical commissions on clinical ontology.
- Prototype and implement RAG-based retrieval.
- Prototype and implement content transformation pipelines.
- Prototype and implement intelligent tagging.
- Prototype and implement structured data feeds.
- Provide technical coordination to Product Owner.
- Assist Product Owner with sprint planning.
- Support Product Owner with release management.
- Evaluate emerging AI/ML technologies.
- Translate AI/ML into implementation proposals.
- Maintain awareness of the existing platform stack.
- Ensure clean integration with existing systems.
- Ensure compliance with IT security standards.
- Ensure compliance with data privacy standards.
- Contribute to technical documentation.
- Contribute to team knowledge sharing.
